Class Announcement
Trinity’s Adult Education will resume at 09:00 am on Sundays, beginning on September 11th, 2011 and running through May 2012. We are starting a new three year program to remind us of the richness and depth of our Anglican expression of the One Holy Catholic Apostolic faith. The first year will concentrate on the essentials of the Christian faith and why we believe God is Truth and Jesus is the Son of God and Holy Scriptures contain all things necessary for salvation. This class is open to the public and will concentrate on the basics of our faith. Ample time for discussion will accompany each class so we can remember and discuss why we came to the church in the first place and why we have stayed over the years. Feel free to invite friends to this open discussion.
Next year, September 2012 through May 2013, we will concentrate on the formularies of the Anglican Tradition. This will involve the details of the Anglican expression of the One Holy Catholic Apostolic faith. This will illustrate the reason we retain the 1928 Book of Common Prayer as our liturgical and doctrinal guideline.
From September 2013 through May 2014, we will concentrate on how we can live our faith in this imperfect world. Frank Wilson’s “Faith and Practice” will be the guide for this study.
